Sign-up for Sailbox-Courses

Sailbox and our five education partners - Sailing School Thunersee, Joran Biel, Fischers’ in Lucerne, Veleta in Zurich and Sailing School Ägerisee - currently offer four courses:

Test Sailing on the mOcean

The Test Sailing will give you a first impression of our yacht mOcean and the project Sailbox. The Test Sailing costs CHF 25 for 1.5 hours of sailing.

mOcean Intro-Course

The mOcean Intro-Course will empower you to lead a mOcean on your own. You still need a "d-Schein" (or equivalent document for foreign residents) and the » membership of Sailbox. The costs of the Intro-Course depends on your amount of experience. Each training unit (3-4 hours) costs CHF 100.
For experienced sailors one course is enough.
The course fees are payable on place.
Please bring sailing shoes withe soles and rain clothes and note that your registration is mandatory and the fee is due unless a cancellation is received at least 48 hours before the event.

mOcean Gennaker-Training

Sailbox is organizing with its Training Partners Sailing School Ägerisee and Sailing School Hilterfingen Gennaker Trainings.
The course contains the following topics:
Learing, perfection the manouvres and sailing with the Gennaker on the mOcean.
The courses will be hold by an Olympic Sailor an best Swiss Matchracer.

Skipper Course

Together with our partner Segelschule Hilterfingen we offer the Skipper Course. The course is held on two days on a mOcean. The other days you will sail on the boats of the Segelschule like a A40 and a 8m JI.
The topics of the course are sharpening your manoeuvres, gennaker, spinnaker, handling, trimming and encoring skills. In this course we can adapt to your special wishes.
