ABOUT THE COST

Sailing with Sailbox is much more easier and advantageous than having a yacht of your own.

And this on various lakes all over Switzerland.

 

SKIPPER members pay an annual subscription (valid 365 days) depending on the chosen category: 

 

 

 

 

 

SKIPPER MEMBRSHIP

 

SKIPPER BASIC LIGHT members don't get a discount on the hourly rate and they sail from Monday to Friday until 5 p.m.

SKIPPER BASIC members don't get a discount on the hourly rate.

SKIPPER HALF FARE members get a 50% discount on the hourly rate.

SKIPPER GA members get a 100% discount on the hourly rate.

 

ADMISSION FEE of 200 CHF will be charged only to SKIPPER members on entry.

DEPOSIT of 500 CHF must be paid upon admission. Sailbox can exempt further groups from the deposit. For example, SKIPPER members under 26 years, life partners of SKIPPER members, SailCom cooperative members and ASVZ members.

KEY FEE of 20 CHF for a Sailbox key that gives you access to the ports and the dinghies.  

 

Sailbox CREW members pay an annual subscription of 75 CHF (no admission fee). The CREW membership qualifies for participating guided trips.

Guided trips are a way of common sailing.

Hourly rates

The use of our boats is invoiced by the hour, and will vary depending on the location and day of the week. For this price, you can sail with up to 6 additional people, which do not have to be Sailbox members.

Now let's assume, you go sailing with three friends, one hour of sailing with a half fare membership will cost less than 10 CHF per person.

 

 

REDUCTIONS

Sailbox offers various reductions:

• For persons under 26 years of age (no admission fee)
• For partners and children living in the same household as a Sailbox member (no admission fee)
• For active members of partner organizations 
• For members of partner clubs
• For employees of partner firms

ASVZ

ASVZ members can sail with us at advantageous conditions. Please register directly at the ASVZ counter or on the ASVZ Website.

 

SAILCOM MEMBERS

SailCom members don’t pay any admission fee

SailCom Mitglieder get a discount of 150 CHF on Sailbox Skipper memberships:

• SKIPPER BASIC: 100 CHF (instead of 250 CHF)
• SKIPPER HALF FARE: 350 CHF (instead of 500 CHF)
• SKIPPER GA: 3'850 CHF (instead of 4'000 CHF)  

SailCom members can buy their Sailbox membership with SailCom. 

 

ADDITIONAL SERVICES 

 

SAILCOM MEMBERSHIP FOR SAILBOX MEMBERS

Annual subscription CHF 100 (for a calender year), no admission fee, no deposit or registered capital.
However, you have to pass an introduction course for every type of boat.
 

REDUCTION OF LIABILITY

For an additional 50 CHF per year, you can reduce your liability in case of accidents from 1000 CHF to 100 CHF.
The reduction of liability applies also when using SailCom boats. It is valid 365 days from conclusion of the insurance.
